| Gary Maxwell | Scotland | Just stumbled upon the Binos website and it brought back some happy memories to me :-). My Brother Scott Maxwell played for Stirling in the early to late 80's and I remember well the days coming to support him and the team... Games to remember for me include the famous 20-0 win against Selkirk in which Scott scored one and laid on about six mostly for Davie Thompson. My Brother still has a video tape of the game as a film crew were there and captured the famous game which lives long in the memory of the few supporters who were actually there and those who were not!!! The game at Ayr when we won 3-2 and thought we had gained promotion to the 1st Division only to hear the news that we had not... The League Cup game against Hearts at Tynecastle when we lost 2-1 after extra time after leading and outplaying them for 120 minutes (My Brother scored the goal and was voted man of the match). I remember as well the year(85?) when the defence only conceded 16 or so goals in the entire league campaign. Andy Graham was in goal and the back four was Rab Dawson, Gerry McTeague, Scott Maxwell and Tam Spence. I also think my Brother won player of the year twice in the mid-eighties. I enjoyed looking at the website and still look out for the scores each Saturday. Keep up the good work Gary Maxwell. |

I come back to Stirling when I can and give the Albion my supoort, my mates at Celtic have taken an interest as well and always want to know how the Binos are doing. At the cup tie against Celtic last season I sat in my season ticket seat at Parkhead but had an Albion top on; the Binos support was the best at any game outwith the Rangers visit.
