Jonny comes from Cumbernauld and started out as a youngster at Falkirk but was signed last year by Dundee United. At the end of last season he was given the opportunity to go full time with the SPL club but declined the offer as he wanted to continue his studies. He was immediately signed up by the Albion Youth Development where he quickly caught the eye of Allan Moore.

Last season he played for his School ‘Our Lady’s High School’ in the Senior Schools Scottish Cup Final at Hampden which they won. He then a fortnight later played alongside Liam Corr and Albion under 19 players Don Morrison, Magnus Neilson and Gregg Munn for Scotland Schools at Wembley.
