Stirling Albion is thrilled to announce the signing of centre-forward Ally Roy. After a decade, Ally returns to where his football journey first began.

Ally first made his mark in football with Stirling Albion’s U17 team in 2012. His impressive career includes stints at numerous clubs such as Heart of Midlothian, Derry City, Partick Thistle, Queen of the South, Greenock Morton, and most recently, East Kilbride.

Throughout his professional career, he has amassed 250 appearances and scored 50 goals, one of which came when Derry City faced Dinamo Minsk in the Europa League. Ally has also represented Northern Ireland at the U21 level, earning three caps.

Manager Alan Maybury commented on the new signing, saying: “Absolutely delighted to be able to sign Ally. He has come full circle coming back to Stirling where he started as a kid.

“He is a goal scorer and gives us something different than we already have in the squad and I’m looking forward to working with him.”

Welcome home, Ally!
