The Club is saddened to hear of the passing of former coach, Thomas McLaren, pictured top right.

Tam as he was known, sadly passed away on May 24th.

A goalkeeper in his playing days, Tam joined the Albion coaching staff in 1967. A popular and respected figure around the dressing room, he was part of the backroom staff who assisted in the Albion winning the 2nd division championship in 1977.

Tam then went on to enjoy further success under Terry Christie at Meadowbank Thistle. Terry and Tam were good friends from their playing days at Hawick Royal Albert and four seasons working together at Annfield.

Another sad loss to the footballing world.
